Nance Brody - Post 6 Grrrl

[Editor’s note: This week, one of the all time best musicians in SL - Nance Brody - made time to be our Post 6 Grrrl. I would have to say that I call myself a true online performer/entertainer and love that I am in Second Life! The wind blew me into SL's Live Music Scene only a short while ago but I fit like a nice warm pair of wooly socks here! Some say I am sexy, talented and that I have the ability to take my online audience to new heights, but I say I am just doing my job as a musician and entertainer.

I love to bedazzles but when my fans say that I have a sultry voice or that I am sexy, my Canadian wit kicks in and makes light of all of that stuff. I admit that have a unique raw, rootsy, bluesy songwriting style and I love to sing to my online fans but I have a hard time with that sexy stuff. I just sing and I take it all serious when it comes to bringing my music right directly to my fans homes.

I have been asked many times throughout my online performing career, why I don't perform in the real world and my answer is always the same answer and that is, its not were my audience is, my fans are here, online, so why would I want to be anywhere else!
